Energy Tracker is an interconnected trail of hands-on stations where you can explore how one form of energy can transform into another. Students can select a line to follow, and visit stations along the route to track and identify different forms of energy.
Energy Tracker was made possible through support from the US Department of Energy and the City of Miami.
These middle school science curriculum materials were developed with funding from Urban Advantage Miami, a collaboration of three science-rich institutions (Miami Science Museum, Zoo Miami/Zoological Society of Florida, and Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden), and the Miami-Dade County Public Schools. The project provides middle school students and their teachers with meaningful field expeditions to each science institution.
While tied to Florida's Next Generation Sunshine State Standards for middle school science related to energy, the curriculum materials below are available for all to use.
