Miami Science Museum Camp-Ins
Camp-Ins are a great way for your group to immerse themselves in a science experience never to be forgotten! In addition to an evening of science activities, Camp-Ins are overnight adventures where students can sleep amongst the exhibits.
- CSI: Museum
A crime has been committed, and you are the detective! Follow the clues and learn some of the techniques that real forensic scientists use to solve cases, including fingerprinting, DNA collection, and chromatography.
- Astronomy Adventures
Blast off into outer space to learn all about galaxies, constellations, planets, and beyond. Campers will view an exciting show in our planetarium while learning the science of the stars.
- Excited About Energy
Finding new, healthier, and efficient ways of living is an up and coming topic in our world. This program will focus on alternative forms of energy and the physics behind them.
- MiaSci Chem Lab
Is it a solid, liquid, or soquid?? Enter MiaSci's chemistry lab as we explore all things ooey, gooey, and fun! Get a refresher on the states of matter and the elements, then advance into the subject of polymers.
- Nano Bites
Nanotechnology allows scientists to create, explore, and manipulate materials at the atomic scale. Now, you too can learn what nanoscience is all about, with cool and fun hands-on activities.
The fun begins with a Live Science Show, followed by an exploration of the night sky in our Planetarium and Observatory (weather permitting). The evening takes you into our classroom where campers will participate in hands-on, exciting activities that allow for deeper exploration on the night's theme.
